1966 Buick Skylark Convertible

Updated 03/03/05

Here is the latest photo ... My 1966 Skylark project began 12/29/1987 and was tagged as of Oct.03!

It features a 72 Olds 455 4bbl (rebuilt to 462cid)10.5 CR /400trans for a little extra kick, stainless dual exhaust, 67 dual pwr brake system, hidden stereo, and steel pipe top hydro lines with 3kpsi ss braided tubing in the flex area. This is my first(& probably last)paint job which is far from perfect, but I feel that it's not really mine unless I do it myself!

The TOPDOWN car!

OK Folks, Credits due to my wife (convertible top), Year One (a bunch), Greg Machine (455 rebuild), Cooper Racing (150mph driveshaft), Cook Racing (400 tranny rebuild/shift kit barks at 80)and B&M Muffler (stainless duals ...thanks Amy the best mufflerman or woman I know ).

Here is an old photo.(Olds bashing permitted) As a matter of fact,at least as far as the engine goes, this was my father's Oldsmobile!(72 Delta 88 Royale)

Here is the Olds 455 shoehorned under the hood.

MY QUALITY POLICY: Hammer to fit then paint to match.

Thanks for looking.
